Scripture:

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Snow days have a way of forcing us to slow down. Plans pause. Doors close. The noise quiets.

And in that stillness, worry can creep in—What about today? What about provision? What about tomorrow?

But God often meets us in the pause.

When we’re unable to work, produce, or push forward, we’re reminded that our security doesn’t come from constant effort—it comes from Him. The same God who provides on busy days is faithful on quiet ones. Snow may stop us, but it never stops God.

Today, if you’re facing an unexpected pause, let it be a moment of trust. A moment to breathe. A moment to remember that God’s care over your life and your work is steady, even when everything else feels uncertain.

Prayer:

Lord, help me trust You when plans change and things feel out of my control. Thank You for being my provider in every season. Teach me to rest in Your faithfulness today. Amen.
